Privacy Notice
Elderly First Humanitarian Foundation (EFHF) is the organisation responsible for the personal information submitted through this website.
What we collect
This website has four forms. We only collect what you type into them:
- Volunteer application: full name, email address, phone number, city and state of residence, area of interest, availability, any skills or experience you choose to share, and why you would like to volunteer.
- Partnership enquiry: full name, organisation name (optional), email address, phone number (optional), type of partnership, and your message.
- Support enquiry: full name, email address, type of support, and your message.
- Contact form: full name, email address, and your message.
We do not ask for identity documents, medical information, or payment details through these forms. Please do not include such information in your message.
Why we collect it
We use your details only to read and respond to your submission — for example, to review a volunteer application, discuss a partnership or support offer, or reply to your question.
How it is handled
When you submit a form, your details are sent by email to EFHF's official inbox (elderlyfirstng@gmail.com) through an email delivery service. They are not published on this website and are not stored in a public database. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing. EFHF does not currently use advertising or analytics tracking tools on this website. Third-party services used to operate the website, including hosting and email delivery, may process limited technical information necessary to provide their services.
How long we keep your information
Elderly First Humanitarian Foundation (EFHF) retains volunteer application information for up to six months from the date of submission.
During this period, we may review applications and contact applicants about suitable volunteering opportunities.
After six months, volunteer application information will be securely deleted from EFHF's active records, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.
Applicants may request earlier deletion by emailing elderlyfirstng@gmail.com. Such requests will be reviewed and handled in accordance with applicable data protection requirements.
Information submitted through our partnership, support, and general contact forms will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to address the enquiry and meet any applicable legal obligations.
Volunteers and safeguarding
Every volunteer application is reviewed by EFHF before any person is allowed to work with the elderly people, widows, and widowers we support. Submitting an application does not guarantee a volunteer position, and selected applicants may be contacted for further screening.
Photographs
We respect the dignity and privacy of everyone featured in our photographs and do not publish identifying personal details of beneficiaries.
Asking for your information to be deleted
To ask what information we hold about you, or to request that it be deleted, email elderlyfirstng@gmail.com from the address you used when you submitted the form.
